Responsibilities

• Work closely with functional managers to ensure quality of deliverables & schedule compliance for all engineering activities.
• Work with functional managers to define high level work plans for next 3 months.
• Track engineering activities closely & report status to management. Step in from time to time & take corrective actions as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review engineering process. Suggest & implement process improvements. Ensure process compliance by the team and enforce when needed.
• Ensure > 90% resource utilization towards billable (product or services) activities. Minimize unbilled work and other support activities to < 10%.
• Manage the development process of product group funded projects. This includes communicating with the product group sponsors, writing specifications, coordinating development and testing activities, and ensuring the successful completion of projects with high quality and timeliness.
• Become familiar with the product group's future product plans and proactively engage the product group to use new technologies developed by AgigA Tech.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Background in engineering development (Hardware, Software or Logic design).
• 6+ years of Program/Project Management experience in relevant industry.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Must have a track-record of strong and effective problem solving and negotiation skills. Have the ability to multi-task and effectively manage concurrent initiatives.
• Flexible work schedule - must be available to support customer and/or factory initiatives outside of normal business hours if needed

• Logic design, including requirement analysis, writing specifications, architecture design, module RTL design, SOC environment design.
• Verification, test bench development, test case design, debug on hardware platform, SOC bringup.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the entire FPGA and IC design flow (i.e. RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, timing closure and in-system debugging).
• Proficient in all aspects of FPGA design. Experience with design tools such as ISE and Quartus.
• Strong background in SOC system design, such as NIOS, Microblaze, Micro32 and ARM.
• Experience in preparing comprehensive simulation plans, writing self-checking test code, and code/functional coverage analysis. Extensive knowledge about System Verilog.
• Experience with at least one or more memory or I/O interfaces (SDRAM, DDR SDRAM, NAND Flash, PCI, PCI-E, SATA) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of IC design and verification flow, and relevant tools.
• Bachelors degree with 5+ years relevant work experience, or Masters degree with 3+ years working experience.

• Generate qualification test plans, perform component qualification testing and document results.
• Perform component failure analysis and coordinate with external labs as required.
• Perform component obsolescence tracking, research and select replacements.

• Check and confirm R&D BOM PN, check all design file name and content before into ARENA.
• Support the creation of derating reports and MTBF reports.
• Ensure that components comply with environmental directives such as REACH and RoHS.
• Maintain environmental compliance database, including BOM maintenance and component material declarations.
• Participate in a team environment to develop process and product improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ years of relevant component engineering experience.
• Familiar with digital/analog circuit design.
